Rhone-Alpes Bioinformatics Center

The Biometry and Evolutionary Biology laboratory depends from both Claude Bernard University (LYON 1) and CNRS. The laboratory associate development and use of bioinformatic, biomathematic and biostatistic methods with experimental approaches to describe and understand adaptative and evolutionary mechanisms.

The LBBE is made of 3 departments :

* Genetics and evolutionary genomics
* Evolutionary ecology
* BioMaths-Health

Several members of the LBBE participate in the INRIA project-teams BAMBOO and BEAGLE.

LBBE is part of "FR 41" "Biology-Environment-Health", and of the E2M2 doctoral school.
